Nilufer and Adam’s intimate wedding at Domaine de Belle-Ferme
Meet cute
Nilufer is from the Netherlands, has a degree in Biology and works in healthcare. She’s bubbly, loves food and is always ready to laugh. Adam is English, poised, as sweet as they come and I can’t remember what he does for a living, besides loving his (now) wife and their dog. They met a long time ago. Adam asked Nilufer’s father for her hand, and after he said yes, he didn’t pop the question til 8 years later. Talk about patience!
Destination wedding in the Swiss countryside
They live in London but as people of great taste, have chosen the Swiss countryside to host their intimate wedding, specifically at Domaine de Belle-Ferme.
On a sunny Saturday of June, overlooking the lake Leman (not to be called Geneva lake please) and the Alps, friends and family gathered for a celebration filled with speeches, laughter, tears of joy, garden-party style. As a unique touch, they chose Friends theme song for the bride processional. After an all-afternoon cocktail party, dinner was served via a foodtruck offering local farm chicken rotisserie.
